A little about Nikkie:  As a child growing up in Thailand, I was captivated by the mystique of orchids.  Their exquisite and delicate beauty inspired me to capture every facet of these blooms for long-lasting enjoyment.

The Preserved Orchid arrangements are the creative results.

Freshly picked blooms and foliage were carefully preserved through a unique process that enables orchids to retain their amazing beauty for years to come.  My Preserved Orchid arrangements have been showcased at several renowned Orchid Shows in California.

Orchids-In-Bloom has expanded its repertoire to include Wedding Bouquet Preservation.  I work closely with every bride so that each beautiful floral keepsake is elegantly designed with passion and patience to reflect the exquisiteness of each flower.

I discovered air-dry clay floral sculpture during my trip to Asia.

This inspired me to acquire the knowledge of how to create lifelike clay flowers. The process is intricate and time consuming that requires learning the botanical structure of each type of orchid.  Sculpturing and hand painting the exotic Cattleya, Phalaenopsis, Cymbidiums, or Lady Slippers require great attention to details in  order to creat the lifelike clay orchids.  Each handcrafted botanical masterpiece is unique.
